Multi-Colour 3D Printing · South Africa
Precision
in every layer.
We craft multi-colour 3D printed pieces that earn a permanent place on your shelf.
Our Story
Where Cape wilderness
meets precision craft.
Fynbos thrives against the odds — in thin soil, under drought, in a climate that tests everything. And yet it produces beauty unlike anywhere else on Earth. A forge is where raw material meets skilled hands and becomes something new. Something lasting. Something with purpose.
Fynbos Forge sits at that intersection. We treat every print as a craft object — not a commodity output. Everything that leaves our studio carries that same stubbornness: made here, made well, made to be noticed.
We print in colour. We print with detail.
And we print things worth keeping.
What We Make
Prints that reward a second look.
We specialise in multi-colour pieces where the detail is the point. Gaming miniatures, personalised gifts, and objects worth owning.
Gaming & Hobby
Miniatures & Game Pieces
DnD characters, Warhammer units, board-game tokens. Multi-colour prints that bring your tabletop to life — straight from the build plate.
Custom Gifts
Portrait Figurines
Turn a photo into a personalised 3D figurine. Weddings, birthdays, milestone moments — gifts that don't end up in a drawer.
Home & Décor
Decorative & Functional Pieces
Desk organisers, wall art, botanical sculptures, and shelf objects. Useful, or just beautiful — sometimes both.
Have something specific in mind that doesn't fit a category? We work from reference images, STL files, or a rough sketch.

Common Questions
Everything you need to know.
What types of 3D prints does Fynbos Forge make?
We make gaming miniatures (DnD, Warhammer, tabletop), custom portrait figurines, decorative home objects, and fully custom commissions. We specialise in multi-colour FDM printing, producing pieces with detailed colour across the surface — straight from the printer, no painting required.
How do I place a custom order?
Send your brief via the contact form, Instagram DM, or email. Describe what you want — or attach a reference image, STL file, or sketch. We'll respond within 24 hours to confirm feasibility, agree on colours and timeline, and take a 50% deposit before production begins.
What is multi-colour 3D printing?
Multi-colour 3D printing uses an Automatic Material System (AMS) to switch between multiple filament colours during a single print job. This lets us produce detailed, coloured objects directly from the machine — no hand-painting involved. We can run up to 16 colour combinations in a single print.
Do you ship across South Africa?
Yes — we ship nationwide via courier. Local collection is also available in Cape Town. We'll send you a tracking notification once your order is on its way.
What file formats do you accept?
We accept STL and OBJ files, as well as reference images, photos, or rough sketches. If you don't have a file, describe what you want and we can advise. No technical knowledge is required to place a custom order with us.
How long does a custom print take?
Lead time depends on complexity, number of colours, and our current queue. Most orders are completed within five to ten business days from deposit. We'll confirm your specific timeline when we review your brief, and send a print preview before production starts.
